Content Specialist

Blue Frog is seeking a content specialist to join our creative team. The individual in this role will organize and complete content projects for online and print clients. This may include project and deadline management; content editing, feedback, and direction; and writing copy for websites, social media, blogs, ebooks, white papers, magazines, advertisements, and more.

The content specialist assists Blue Frog’s content manager by editing and optimizing content that promotes the marketing strategy designed for clients. This individual is also responsible for ensuring all content produced is high quality and in line with client needs.  The content specialist may work directly with clients to learn and become fluent in the voices of their brands and understand the goals and target audiences of each type of content produced.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to

  • Writing high quality content to client specifications for a variety of formats, both digital and print
  • Optimizing online content for SEO
  • Working with account managers to meet client needs, goals, deliverables, and deadlines
  • Working with clients and/or account managers to develop interesting and relevant content topics
  • Working primarily within the HubSpot platform to publish and optimize online content
  • Being available to the content manager, creative manager, account managers, and sales staff on a daily basis to make impromptu edits to proposals, online or print marketing content, and other communication materials
  • Editing content (including but not limited to proposals, websites, ebooks, infographics, print magazines, and press releases) created by Blue Frog staff writers, clients, and outsourced contributors to ensure clarity, readability, accuracy, appropriate use of citations, grammatical correctness, and overall quality
  • Consulting with clients to gather information necessary to create content that meets their business needs and ensure satisfaction with content substance and quality
  • Consulting with internal staff to coordinate efforts, communicate about client needs, brainstorm project ideas, engage in creative problem solving, and work toward both client and internal goals
  • Publishing appropriate, high quality content to assigned client blogs and social media profiles, ensuring timely publication to fulfill contract obligations
  • Implementing website tagging to enhance SEO efforts
  • Participating in ongoing online training courses to keep up with current best practices and industry standards
  • Participating in the creation of plans for growing Blue Frog’s capacity to serve greater numbers of clients while maintaining a high level of writing quality

Job Requirements

Digital Advertising Specialist

A Digital Advertising Specialist is responsible for the implementation, development, and reporting of successful digital advertising strategies. Their responsibilities revolve around obtaining success and making data driven decisions to improve performance. Additionally, the ad specialist is required to work with other team members as part of overall strategy development.

  • Assist with setup, optimization, management, and content creation for ads through Google, Facebook, and other platforms
  • Assist with management of ad budgets, A/B testing ad creatives, keyword research, competitor research, setting up audiences, and optimizing for conversions
  • Analysis of client campaign performance and reporting
  • Actively research new best practices and how to best optimize client ads

Their responsibilities revolve around client satisfaction and retention as well as project management, including responsibility for assigning work to the rest of the client team and meeting all contract deliverables. The Inbound Marketing Strategist is responsible for all client reports, reviews, interactions, and contract renewals.

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for clients throughout the business relationship
  • Consult with clients on, direct, and manage marketing strategy

Web Developer

Blue Frog is seeking an experienced web developer to join our creative team. Our developers work closely with the designers and project managers to bring the collective vision of the project coordinator, designer, and client to life. Graphic Design Intern

Blue Frog is looking for a graphic design intern to assist our team of creatives. The design intern will work closely with our creative staff and project coordinators to produce digital marketing deliverables for both Blue Frog and our clients. This role will also require self-monitoring deadlines and time management skills.

Candidates should be familiar in Adobe design software and be studying graphic design or a related field. Must also enjoy a team atmosphere where you can bounce ideas off of other creatives, as well use direction and critique as an opportunity to improve your work.
