The Solutions Engineer will be part of the Revenue Operations team at Blue Frog, working closely with our Director of Solutions Architecture, Integrations Developers, and HubSpot onboarding strategists.
They will be responsible for selling to inbound prospects while being able to relay in-depth technical knowledge in a way that is understandable to non-technical customers. You should be driven to achieve team sales goals and should have excellent sales and customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Support sales executives with solution selling to inbound leads generated through website and through our vendor relationships
- Partner with Director of Solutions Architecture to plan, prepare, and execute on strategic deals in complex sales cycles
- Clearly communicate business challenges and goals gathered during sales process to team responsible for execution to ensure post-sale satisfaction
- Communicate business case associated with each sales opportunity
- Successfully match customer pain/requirements to proposed solutions
- Create and deliver powerful presentations and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition
- Manage all technical aspects of proposal writing and sales presentation
- Serve as a technical resource to full staff while being available to answer various technical queries
Qualifications
- Ability to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with team members
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in custom CRM configuration, software development, or web development
- Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner
- Able to resolve complex technical issues under pressure
- Ability to collaborate with both technical strategists and business strategists to deliver clear and effective solutions
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
- Excellent presentation and creativity skills
Preferred
- Experience coding with PHP, HubL, SQL, JavaScript, Python
- Proven work experience in technical sales
- Experience creating custom API integrations
- Experience creating and/or analyzing RevOps reports including common KPIs such as: Cost Per Acquisition, Annual Recurring Revenue, Total Contract Value, Churn Rate, Renewal Rater, Customer Lifetime Value, Average Revenue per User, Days Sales Outstanding, and Revenue Backlog
