Director of Marketing

Blue Frog is seeking a Director of Marketing to lead strategic marketing efforts for our North American operations while maintaining oversight of global marketing initiatives in collaboration with our international teams across EMEA and APAC. This is a high-impact, senior-level contributor role, ideal for an experienced marketer with 8+ years in digital strategy, paid media, and campaign execution.As part of the Avidly network, the world’s largest and most decorated HubSpot Solutions Partner, you’ll contribute to global campaigns, influence international strategy, and drive measurable results locally. You’ll own the planning and execution of Blue Frog’s internal marketing and serve as a trusted advisor to internal teams and select client engagements.This is an onsite role based at our Waukee, IA office. The ideal candidate is a seasoned marketing professional who excels at both high-level strategy and hands-on execution, and who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

 

Global Marketing Leadership & Collaboration

  • Maintain active oversight of Blue Frog’s role within Avidly’s global marketing efforts.
  • Own Blue Frog’s contribution to Avidly’s global marketing efforts — from campaign alignment to shared reporting and strategy execution.
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions and contribute insights that shape international campaign execution.
  • Exposure to international strategy sessions, launches, or cultural insights.

Strategic Campaign Execution

  • Lead the planning and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns aligned with company objectives and revenue goals.

  • Collaborate with leadership on go-to-market strategies for core service offerings.

  • Craft messaging strategies and partner with various departments to bring campaigns to life.

Digital Advertising Leadership

  • Own and manage paid media efforts across Google, LinkedIn, Meta, and other platforms.

  • Act as the strategic advisor for digital advertising — providing strategic support to internal teams and contributing to client engagements when needed.

  • Translate business goals into effective media strategies; continuously optimize campaign performance based on data.

Internal Consulting & Enablement

  • Provide strategic marketing support to Consulting, Onboarding, and Sales teams by helping them align campaigns and messaging with client needs.
  • Develop strategic assets (sales enablement, case studies, ad briefs, landing pages, etc.) to support team execution and client growth.

HubSpot Marketing Execution 

  • Drive campaign deployment through HubSpot: workflows, email automation, list segmentation, and campaign reporting.
  • Ensure HubSpot is fully leveraged as a strategic marketing tool internally and with clients.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of marketing experience, with deep expertise in campaign strategy, digital advertising, and marketing operations
  • Advanced hands-on experience with HubSpot and paid advertising platforms
  • Ability to provide strategic guidance to internal stakeholders and clients across a range of marketing topics
  • Strong analytical mindset with a track record of driving measurable results through marketing
  • Comfortable balancing high-level strategy with tactical execution
  • Must reside in Des Moines metro area
  • Must be able to travel internationally
