The Communication Specialist works closely with the rest of the client-services team to achieve results for our clients. The Communications Specialist executes client campaigns and daily social media work, with an understanding of the objectives and larger client dynamics.

• Client Interface: Reporting to & answering questions from clients via phone and email
• Fosters their awareness/familiarity/affinity for the client’s industry
• Familiar with the tools and techniques of social media
Must have ability to:
Implement platform-specific best practices across various platforms and social communities including, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
Execute social media marketing strategies for our clients across a wide array of industries.
Community moderation, including answering comments and questions, prompting further engagement, escalating issues to clients, following up on issues, and maintaining community standards.
Execute custom content marketing strategies for clients, including content curation of relevant articles, images, videos, infographics and other highly compelling items. You must be able to create copy, including the creation of conversion-optimized titles and intros along with social SEO copy.
Perform outreach activities, including developing and maintaining relationships with key bloggers and other influencers. Leverage those relationships and opportunities where appropriate.
• 4-year college degree
• User of social media
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), online calendars and calendar management and Google Docs
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be able to write with a given audience in mind, keeping communication clear and concise.
• Superb proofreading and copyediting skills
• Exceptional organization and time management skills
• Ability to multitask while meeting strict deadlines
• Ability to take direction and work independently to achieve established goals
